Important- after marking the wall, verify your markings with the distance between the slots on the plaque.
- After verifying alignment and spacing, you are ready to drill the pilot holes for mounting.
Follow instruction "A" for wood siding. Follow instruction "B" for brick or masonry.
Instruction A (wood siding): Drill pilot hole with 3/32" drill bit. Screw mounting screws into wall, leaving approximately 1/4" gap between the wall surface and screw heads.
Instruction B (brick/masonry): Drill 3/16" hole 1" deep and insert plastic screw sleeve (provided). Insert screws leaving approximately 1/4" gap between the wall surface and screw heads. Note: for applications where the brick mortar is significantly recessed, use longer screws.
