Tweedy weaves show less dirt and these new colors all have a tweedy "fleck" woven into the Polypropylene cordage.

Just like the regular colors they are handcrafted in Hyannis, Massachusetts, where there are no machines involved. Cape Cod weavers create these Doormats from a top quality polypropylene cordage, made specially for Cape Cod Doormats.  There are twenty-eight regular decorator colors as well as the four Two-Tone weaves above.  Certainly there's one to blend perfectly with your home.  All mats are reversible.

These outdoor mats will withstand the heaviest traffic and at the same time trap more dirt, mud, snow, or sand, before anyone walks through your doorway. The polypropylene cordage features thousands of fibers that trap dirt but it cleans easily.  Just shake it or hose it clean.  It is mildew and inset resistant, and will not retain water or harbor insects, as natural fibers might.

Since the mats are durable and highly resistant to salt water, they make an excellent boat or pool mat.  The Cape Cod mats even float!
