The radio receiver has numerous functions based based on EnOcean battery-less radio technology. It includes a 6-way timer function for automatic switch-off after a period of between 30 minutes and 12 hours. It further includes 3 radio-controlled power levels. LEDs display the programming mode, the power levels, and the operation status - ON/Standby. Receivers can be associated in groups of up to 28 heaters to be simultaneously controlled within a single channel, from a single switch on the remote transmitter. Alternately, receivers can respond to up to 28 different remote control transmitters. Remote transmitters, sold separately, can handle up to four receivers or four groups of receivers.

The Receiver attaches to and plugs into the side of the Heatscope heater unit. The power wiring then goes to the back of the receiver instead of the heater unit. See the diagram. For a continuous unbroken line of heaters, butt the ends of the Heatscope heaters and/or receivers and/or connection units.
