www.seattleluxe.com offers ground shipping via UPS (United Parcel Service) and via the US Postal Service. UPS cannot deliver to a Post Office Box. Shipments made to a Post Office Box will be made via US Postal Service. Some merchandise is shipped via truck - in which case somebody must be present when the merchandise is delivered. If redelivery is required, purchaser will be billed for redelivery charges. If an order is cancelled by the purchaser after the order has been shipped, purchaser is responsible for round-trip freight charges..
Shipping is measured in business days which means weekends and holidays are excluded. Generally, from time of shipment, the maximum time in transit is scheduled for 7 business days for shipments across the country - e.g., from our California distribution point to Maine. But most shipping zones are reached within 2-4 business days.
For many of our products including most mailboxes 2nd day Air shipments and Overnight Air shipments are prohibitively expensive due to the weight of the merchandise, but these can be arranged for all items with the exception of Shoe Cubbies and Kitchen Carts. Just request "Overnight Delivery" or "2nd Day AIR" on the order form. We will advise you before shipping if the cost exceeds $50 additional. Extra air-shipping charges appear separately on your credit card bill.
Large and Heavy items
Some merchandise, such as Shoe Cubbies and most mailboxes are so large and heavy that there is a freight surcharge. You will always see any surcharge before finalizing your order. Additionally, some items are so large and heavy that shipping to destinations outside the contiguous 48 United States is prohibitively expensive.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
Mailboxes are particularly heavy and the amounts in the chart above do not apply to Mailbox shipments. We will give you a freight quote by return email for your approval before finalizing your order. Not all merchandise can be shipped to these destinations. We will advise you accordingly if some or all of your shipment cannot be completed. Shipments are made via US Postal Service, UPS, or FedEx, at our discretion.
International
Sorry, we ship only to the 50 United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, US Possessions and Territories and APO and FPO addresses.
Back Orders
Sometimes it is not possible to ship your entire order together in the same
shipment. In such cases, you are never charged more for shipping
than the original amount quoted in your order (or the original Air Freight charge per your request.).
Package Missing?
Each package shipped to you travels individually. Sometimes packages
shipped together may arrive on two consecutive days. In some
cases, a second or third package may arrive on the third day. If you don't
have your final package two business days after the arrival of the
first package, please notify us via e-mail at tracing@seattleluxe.com.
Shipping schedules.
Although shipments are made according to standardized time-in-transit
estimates, these are indeed only estimates made according to our most recent shipping experience. Shipping dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Our guarantees extend to the merchandise itself not to the rapidity of shipping or lack thereof.
When will my order be shipped?
Unless custom made, most merchandise is shipped in 3-4 business days or less. A few items require up to seven
days to be shipped. Custom-made items require two to three weeks in most cases. On the business day after your order is placed, we will send you an eMail shipping notification with our best estimate of the date on which your order will be shipped.
Leave the package at the door?
Whether or not a package will be left at your door for you is completely up to
the discretion of the delivering carrier. If UPS usually leaves packages
at your door, then they will do the same with www.seattleluxe.com shipments. We do not instruct UPS as to whether or not packages should be
left at the door.
Multiple Addresses
For orders you request shipped to multiple addresses, Shipping &
Handling charges apply individually to the value of merchandise shipped to each
address.
Gift Orders
At your request we will send a gift card to the recipient. On the order
form, just tell us the occasion and what you want to say on the card. Sorry, we do not gift wrap.
