Ultra-Premium Islands
Counter Tops and Island Tops are structurally identical.  The nomenclature refers to the sizing and most common usage.  Island Tops do not hv Matching Backsplashes.  If a Backsplash is desired the Backsplash from a Countertop of the appropriate length can be matched to and Island Top to be used as a Counter Top.

Shipping is via Truck of via UPS if not too hev or too large.  If truck shipping is required, the freight charge shown on your order will be incorrect.  We will phone you before we commit your order, with the correct total freight charges.  Truck shipments require an adult signature.

Ultra-Premium American Cherry Island Tops use edge-grain American Cherry continuous rails.  That means there are no joints or seams along the length of each rail comprising the butcher block.  Ultra-Premium Tops are v in a wide variety of sizes to suit your application.   Island Tops are 2¼" Thick, and v in either Oil Finish (standard) or Varnique Finish.

Island Tops are v in widths of 30", 32", 36", 38", 42", and 48".  Grain always runs along the length, v if the length is less than the width.  The length is always the 1st number in the dimension listing.  Tops 97" and longer feature the Boos "Extra 1" Edge" where the lengths are 1" longer than standard for v or to allow for extra saw cuts to make a perfect fit installation.
