Vandal-Resistant Mailboxes
No mailbox is a perfect vandal or tampering defense, but some are far better than others. Some Mailboxes emphasize vandal resistance, others emphasize tamper resistance, many of ours feature both attributes. One way to judge the strength of a mailbox is its weight. Compared to an ordinary mailbox which might weight 5 lbs., some of our vandal-resistant mailboxes weigh 40 lbs. and more. The added weight is a direct measure of the thickness of the metal used. It's more likely the vandal will break his bat than injure one of these mailboxes.
