Instructions for Coronado or other heavy mailboxes over 12 lbs:  Drill two holes in the back of the mailbox and use lag-bolts to attach the mailbox directly to the post such that the post supports most of the weight of the mailbox - per these "Heavy Mailbox" instructions.

Can be mounted over 4 x 4 wood post - not included.   Mailbox mounting hardware not included.
