Can be mounted over 4 x 4 wood post - not included.
Mailbox mounting hardware not included. Use the Ground Screw to install easily.
Use as delivered to acommodate mailboxes with flat bottoms such as Good Directions, Imperial, Keystone, Streetscape and all mailboxes up to 7 lbs. For heavier mailboxes, follow our "Heavy Mailbox" instructions.
For mailboxes with bottoms that are not flat, use a mounting board, per these instructions.
If you plan to use the Whithall Mailbox, the Coronado Mailbox, or the Bellevue Mailbox, or any other mailbox that does not have a flat bottom follow these instructions or use the Rockport, Dover, Liberty, or Signature Plus.
Note: For mailboxes weighing 25 lbs. or more, two screws should be placed through the back of the mailbox into the 4" x 4" internal wood post.)
