Solid Teak Counter Tops. Wow!
Imported from Mexico's Pacific Coast
Teak has long been celebrated as the grandest of all tropical hardwoods; for its durability, its sophisticated look, and its resistance to the elements. These dense, rich, and finely crafted teak wood products provide lasting satisfaction with minimal care.
Harvested from 2,500 acress along Mexico's Pacific coast, careful attention is given to environmental and responsible forestry practices.
End Grain Teak, shown here is the most striking, is most resilient, and will hold up under the most demanding conditions. End Grain counters and cutting boards are assembled by sawing off the outer layers of bark, quartering the log, removing the pith, and essentially rebuilding the log in a square shape.

Edge Grain Teak is a sturdy workhorse. The individual boards used to assemble an edge-grain counter are narrower than they are thick, creating a particularly strong adhesive bond. Wherever possible the boards are book-matched, a technique that opens up the wood to show off the details of the grain

Counter-tops are pressure laminated. The joins are stronger than the wood itself and will never delaminate. Grain always runs the "long" way. In other words, once installed, when facing the counter you'll observe the grain running from left to right.
Counter tops are available in thicknesses of 1.5" and 2" - and depths of 25" and 36". Lengths available are 72" and 108" These can be subsequently shaped to fit your kitchen or bath or other room setting. For stability, end-grain tops are available only in 2" thick sizes.
