1. This Extended Warranty shall apply only to mailboxes originally purchased from Seattle Luxe. Inc, and shall run only in favor of the original purchaser.
2. An Extanded Warranty may be purchased at any time other than that of the time of original mailbox purchase.
3. This Extended Warranty covers mailboxes, mounting hardware and posts that fail to operate for any reason, including vandalism, collision, and act of nature, for a period of three or five years from the date of purchase, the "Warranty Period".
4. In the event a mailbox covered by the Extended Warranty fails to operate within the Warranty Period, Seattle Luxe will supply necessary parts, repair if possible, or replace the mailbox. If the mailbox must be replaced, and if an exact duplicate of the original mailbox is no longer available, then a mailbox of similar size and quality in Seattle Luxe's sole discretion, shall be supplied by Seattle Luxe, instead.
5. Seattle Luxe may require that you furnish reasonable proof of damage or inoperability of the mailbox, such as a photograph of the mailbox.
6. Seattle Luxe will make every reasonable effort to verify the date and purchaser of the mailbox. In the event that Seattle Luxe is unable from its own records to verify the date and purchaser of the mailbox, Seattle Luxe, as a condition of a warranty, will require you to produce the original sales receipt for the mailbox or other satisfactory documentation.
7. If the mailbox can be repaired, the customer shall be responsible for shipping the mailbox to the address designated by Seattle Luxe. Seattle Luxe will return the repaired mailbox freight prepaid.
8. This Extended Warranty shall be for repair or replacement only and no cash refund shall be given.
9. This Extended Warranty does not include lettering or numbering except as follows: If an entire mailbox is replaced and the original mailbox included lettering or numbering then the same type of lettering or numbering will be replaced. If a mailbox post originally including a number plate is being replaced, then the number plate and numbering will be replaced. If a mailbox-top number plate was purchased with a mailbox being replaced, then the number plate and numbering will be replaced. Notwithstanding the above, undamaged number plates suitable for use with the mailbox or post to be replaced, will not be replaced.
10. This document constitutes the entire agreement and no other relationship between the purchaser and Seattle Luxe shall exist between warrantor (Seattle Luxe) and warantee (original mailbox purchaser) other than that which is described in this agreement.
