Catskill Craftsmen a leading American manufacturer of domestic hardwood ready-to-assemble kitchen carts, islands, and work centers. They also manufacture gourmet butcher block chopping blocks, and cutting boards. Located in Stamford, New York, Catskill Craftsmen has been producing quality wooden products for over 60 years. Catskill products are described as "high quality at fair prices".

Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers with sweeping picturesque views. The area is noted for downhill skiing, prime hunting, and terrific fishing. Stamford is also known as The Queen of the Catskills, a name used by thousands of metropolitan New Yorkers, who, at the turning of the 19th to the 20th century, took the long train ride to spend their summers in the cool mountain air.

The Catskill Factory, Stamford, New York

Catskill Craftsmen began operations in 1948, and has developed over the years, becoming a leading US manufacturer of RTA (ready to assemble) hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. The company is privately held, and takes great pride in its products and services. Catskill prides itself on customer service. Their sixty dedicated employees work hard to ensure that products are delivered rapidly and meet your satisfaction. Catskill manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from local sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill proclaims: "our operations generate no wood waste".
