Installation and electrical instructions for HARDWIRED mirrors:

1. All electrical work should be done by a licensed electrician.
2. Mount a 4" octagon box flush with the wall surface.  Box must be mounted securely enough to support 15 - 20 lbs.  This is due to the extension arm on the mirror exerting lever-force at the box.
3. Mounting height for a mirror to be used while standing is 58" from floor to center of box.
4. Mounting height for a mirror to be used while seated is 42" from floor to center of box.

Notes:  
a.  All Nova mirrors have the switch located on the mirror base, i.e., not the cord.  
b.  Nova mirrors are supplied with 110 volt. 40 watt candelabra base bulbs available virtually everywhere.  Up to 60 Watts can be used.

Non-hardwired mirrors (with electrical cord and plug) and non-lighted mirrors are mounted directly to the wall at similar heights, as described above.  But of course, no electrical work is necessary.
