After I got home from World War II I joined him in business and took over after his death in 1964. I'm still working under his credo. When each weathervane is finished it is numbered, signed, and dated. As it is packed, I'm thinking 'Some one is going to be delighted when they open this.' If I think they won't be [delighted] it doesn't get packed."
